Our system clean-ups come in 2 flavours:
- System back-up and re prep - £40 – 1-3 working days
- Non-destructive virus removal – £65 – 3-5 working days
With the first option, we will back up any user created files, pictures, documents, etc. We then do a full system format and re-install your operating system from scratch. However we can only back up what you tell us to do, we can not be held responsible for items stored elsewhere on your computer without being informed before hand. Also with this option you will need to supply us with your installation cd’s for any software you wish to be installed (yes this includes Microsoft office).
With the second option we attempt to remove all trace of infection and repair any damage which has been done, while keeping your computer file systems intact. However this will not work 100% of the time due to the amount of time the infection has been on the computer and a few other factors. As you can imagine this service will take longer than the first option.
